DESCRIPTION

1969 Triumph Herald 13/60 Convertible. White with black ambla upholstery, black hood and full and half tonneau covers. The 13/60 was the last version of the Herald, intended to update the original concept for a final fling. Production started at the end of August 1967 and the model was launched in the October. It was fitted with the 1296cc engine which it shared with the Triumph 1300 FWD car. This gave it 25% more power than the 1200 model. The same engine was also used in a higher-tuned form in the Mk III Spitfire and 1300TC. It was available in the usual Saloon, Estate and Convertible versions but with revised front end styling based on the Vitesse bonnet fitted with single 7 inch headlamps. It had redesigned and more comfortable seats plus a revised dashboard. This Herald has been with its last keeper for seven years and has been used sparingly during this time covering minimal mileage, now displaying 89,000 miles. The car still presents well and has been well maintained over the years with parts being replaced as required. Running and driving well this little Triumph is an ideal starter classic and one that will give you great pleasure. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Part exchange considered. Finance arranged. Free U.K mainland delivery. Please contact us for any further information. More pictures on our website.
