1973 MGB GT Manual/Overdrive. Damask Red with black upholstery. This lovely MG has been with its last keeper for 5 years and has recently had lots of expenditure. It has just benefitted from a bodywork restoration, refurbished wheels and four brand new tyres. It is a very genuine car with all of its original features which include early inertia belts, rubber matting, 2 x 6V batteries, original steering wheel, seats and Rostyle wheels. It is still mechanically standard, with no modifications other than electronic ignition, most recently it has benefitted from a new radiator, new oil cooler, new rear brake cylinders and front suspension lower arm bushes. The batteries have also been replaced. The car presents very well with a deep lustre on the paintwork and very bright chrome work, and a tidy interior. The chassis is strong with no sign of corrosion and the underside solid. The car starts on the button with the correct oil pressure and drives well with working overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears. The panel gaps and shuts are very good and panel fitment correct. Its a totally unmolested car that is a rare find in such original specification. Displaying 40,000 miles which the last keeper believed to be true but we are unable to guarantee due to the age. A large history file accompanies the car containing bills, invoices and old mot certificates. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind.
