1956 Jaguar XK 140 Fixed Head Coupe. Jaguar Bronze with biscuit and tan leather upholstery. Newly introduced for 1955, the Jaguar XK140 was broadly similar to, though more refined than, its sensational XK120 predecessor, major engineering changes being confined to the repositioning of the engine 3" further forward and the adoption of rack-and-pinion steering. The suspension and brakes remained much as before, though with stiffer torsion bars at the front and telescopic shock absorbers replacing lever type at the rear. Outwardly the newcomer was distinguishable by its revised radiator grille, rear lights incorporating flashing indicators and larger bumpers, the latter adopted to withstand the cut and thrust of urban parking. This absolutely beautiful 1956 XK140 started life as a 3. 4 SE and was supplied to its first owner who was based in Chicago, Illinois. The car made its way back to the U.K when acquired by XK marque specialist Leaping Cats. The car was completely stripped, fully rebuilt and restored and was significantly upgraded by Leaping Cats. The result is the most beautiful XK 140 we have seen with the attention to detail second to none. During the rebuild many improvements..
1964 MGB Roadster MK I Pull Handle. British Racing Green with Black leather upholstery and white piping. The MGB replaced the outgoing MGA in May 1962. It then remained in production until the Abingdon factory finally closed in 1980. Compared with the "A' the "B' was a more comfortable mode of transport all round with more legroom and generally more creature comforts like wind-up windows. Initially all the cars were roadsters and the suspension was slightly softer than the MGA, but it still handled well. Despite being an inch or two shorter than the "A' the interior space was better designed giving the passengers a bit more space plus there was now room for a more sensible amount of luggage when touring. But it carried on the "wind in the hair' tradition of the great British sports car and while by modern standards it is not particularly rapid, in its day its performance was regarded as "brisk'. The entire MGB range all used a version of the 1798 cc BMC Series B engine, which was a slightly enlarged version of the 1622cc Series A Engine. There are many articles that reference the unique features of an early Mk1 MGB – namely; pull door handles, 3 bearing engine, 3 synchromesh gear..

Big brother to the ever-popular 205 GTi, the 309 GTi is a true 'Q' car. Based on the Silver Shadow II, the Silver Spirit and its long-wheelbase counterpart, the Silver Spur, were announced in the autumn of 1980. Rolls-Royce's familiar and dependable 6,750cc V8 power unit remained unchanged, but significant improvements were made to the newcomers' self-levelling rear suspension and the styling too came in for revision, with a lower waistline, increased glass area and a more modern angular look; rectangular headlights graced the front of a Rolls-Royce for the first time, and the oft-changed radiator became wider and squatter. Inside, the Crewe firm's exemplary standards of equipment and finish were maintained. Supplied new by H.R Owen on 23rd March 1989 and covered just 56,000 miles from new. 2003 Maserati 4200 V8 GT Coupe Manual. Grigio Touring Metallic with Red leather upholstery. Powered by a characterful, Ferrari-built, 4.2-litre F136R V8 producing 385bhp, with rear-wheel drive via a 6-speed manual gearbox. Having spent the preceding decade trying to compete with BMW in the medium-size sports saloon market, with a handful of coupés and cabriolets thrown in for good measure, in 1998 Maserati emphatically re-embraced its noble traditions by introducing a stunning all-new Gran Turismo: the 3200 GT. The luxury coupé was styled by ItalDesign, headed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, whose previous work for the Modenese manufacturer had included, among others, the Ghibli, Bora, and Merak. As well as reconciling all the usual competing requirements of aerodynamics, all-round performance, safety and passenger accommodation, ItalDesign had to produce a car that was recognisably a Maserati. The design team succeeded brilliantly in creating a look that emphasised continuity with Maserati's past, incorporating the firm's Trident emblem into the radiator grille while the front-end treatment as a whole recalled its racing sports cars of the 1960s. The 3200 GT's 3.2-litre, quad-cam V8 engi..
